The sculpture was inspired by my love of Christmas.  The Santas are all unique, each with their own expression and attitude. This Santa has a red hat, and is holding a gold leaf wreath.  As you can see, he leans a little to the left, making him perfect for all the liberals in your house. Made from stoneware ceramics, it is formed entirely by hand. Surface decoration is done with underglazes, gold leaf, sgraffito and mishima.
